Vintage Weber's Chocolates Art Deco Candy Metal Tin

Vintage Weber's Chocolates Art Deco Candy Metal Tin

$28.00
What a fun tin to add to your tin collection - wonderful period advertising and colors that work for the holiday season. The tin originally contained Weber's Chocolates from Milwaukee and it was as much a treasure as the chocolates it once contained. The background is a muted red color with gold art deco elements on the edges. The center of the top has a detailed image of a colonial woman in a hand car attended by her two butlers in full uniform. The little roses on the corners and the front garland are a wonderful touch.
The bottom and inside is shiny gold and the bottom is embossed CANCO. The back is hinged so the lid is attached. The lid has a domed shape adding to the panache of the piece. 1 LB. Net is faintly noted on the front edge of the lid.

The condition is really nice, considering the age and the use. There are light areas of wear, scratches and scuffs, handling marks and normal vintage soiling, along the edge of the lid, the inside rim and the base. There is light wear inside with some oxidation. The lid fits quite snugly and the hinge works quite well. The tin contains an assortment of wooden game pieces that will be sent along as a bonus!

This displays well and could be just the final touch you are looking for! It also has a look and feel of the Christmas season!
