1940s RKW Bavaria Germany Black & Heavy Gilding Lux Gilt Gold Art Fine Porcelain Dessert/Luncheon Set with Tea Cup & Saucer and Plate. I would describe it as a sunburst pattern with gold rays along the edges of all three pieces and black accent centers.

Marked Bavaria Crown Mark Crossed Swords R K W. Rudolf Kirchenlamitz Wachter factory 50 on the bottom of each of the three pieces.

There are no chips, cracks, repairs to the pieces. There is some roughness along the edge of the larger plate that I believe may be some tape residue. You have to look hard to find it. The other two pieces are in wonderful shape. There is some slight fading of the gold in some spots.

This is a really striking set and would compliment other Art Deco or mid-century pieces so well.
