Mid-Century Bourne Denby Derby Ceramic Pottery Pub Mug with Relief Figure
Mid-Century Bourne Denby Derby Ceramic Pottery Pub Mug with Relief Figure
$26.50
What a fun find - a bit rare - and definitely something to add to your pub mug collection. This Bourne Denby Derby ceramic drinking mug was produced from 1945 to 1950 in England. It has a relief of a man holding a jug on the front. The handle is shaped like a twig and it, along with the top and bottom rim are painted in gold. This is not a Toby mug, but it is very similar and would be great for the Toby collector to drink their coffee out of or to add to your MCM bar cart for swizzle sticks and other cocktail tools. Wonderful coppery brown inside.
The base is marked Bourne Denby Derby Made in England.
Really nice condition. There is some loss of paint on the top of the gold handle. No chips or cracks and quite usable for décor or drinking.
Dimensions:
4 3/4" tall
5" wide at widest part to edge of handle
2 3/4" diameter at top
3" diameter at base
