These are wonderful pieces of mid-century nostalgia that could be just the finishing touch you are looking for to complete your nursery, playroom, home school classroom - or any place where adorable children belong! There are three pieces by the same designer (Rowoco) and they are listed as a set of three items:
1 - Child's Growth Chart - The chart has adorable imagery of a baby to a young child in simple line drawings with pink and red coloring and black outlines. Cute flowers are in between the images of the children. There are 2 grommets on the top to hang the piece. It is demarcated in inches from 0" to 58". The top has a verse: Because I'm tiny and so small I hardly measure much at all. So count the dots and watch me grow, half inches add up fast you know.
2 - Tooth Record of _____________ - The chart has adorable imagery of a baby to a young child in simple line drawings with pink and red coloring and black outlines. Images of teeth are in between the images of the children. There are 2 grommets on the top to hang the piece. There are multiple verses: Now use each tooth to mark the date, they come and go at quite a rate! A smile so bright No Tooth in Sight. Incisors Upper Incisors Lower. Six Months Appear Ten Months all Here. At Two Years Old First Molars Show, and Very Soon The Cuspids Grow. I Brush my Teeth When I am Two, To Keep Them Clean Like Grownups Do! 2 -Family Tree. The chart has adorable imagery of a baby, flowers, birds and young children in simple line drawings with pink and red coloring and black outlines. There are banners and lines for adding the following information: Weight, Height, Born, Time, Mother, Father, Grandparents (2 sets), Great-Grandparents (4 sets) . There are 2 grommets on the top to hang the piece. This piece has rolled hems that are machine stitched. The brand is noted on the bottom as by Rowoco @ 1961 (maybe 1967?)
These were not used as far as I can tell. The only aging on the piece is a bit of residual adhesive from the original tag near the top of the Growth Chart and Tooth Record. Really nice thin linen with machine finished edges. They have been folded for quite awhile so stem pressing would serve them well. They have wonderful drape from the linen fabric.
I think this would be so adorable in a playroom. It could be used for multiple children. We used the back of a closet door for our children and I always regretted that it was not something I could take with me when we moved. This would never be left behind!
