This is a wonderful piece of mid-century nostalgia that could be just the finishing touch you are looking for to complete your nursery, playroom, home school classroom - or any place where adorable children belong!

The piece is made from a single piece of printed linen with 6 panels containing illustrations of young children reading, playing, gardening and other outdoor adventures. The panels either have a golden yellow of creamy white background with red dividing lines. Each of the vignettes of children have red, green and white with simple black accents. Adorable! No artist or manufacturer is noted on the piece. It is likely European as the measuring marks on the outside edge are in centimeters are begin at 50 and end at 150 (Approximately 19" to 60").

The top is affixed to a simple wooden dowel with a red cord noted on both ends to easily hang at the correct height to measure a child's growth.

This was not used as far as I can tell. The only aging on the piece is a bit of strays marks on the bottom panel.

I think this would be so adorable in a playroom. It could be used for multiple children. We used the back of a closet door for our children and I always regretted that it was not something I could take with me when we moved. This would never be left behind!
