Oh my goodness! You need this at the cottage or cabin for the little ones in your life. It is a whimsical white quilted crib quilt/play blanket with colorful embroidered scenes of five sweet bunnies enjoying outdoor activities. It also has a sweet house with trees and birds to round out the cuteness. And then there is the round pillow cover with an enlarged bunny face and ears and feet adornments. Just too cute!

The bunny and house scenes are embroidered on thin white cotton quilted backgrounds. Both the crib blanket and pillow cover are trimmed with soft pink binding tape. The colors of the embroidery thread are predominantly bright pink, aqua, green and yellow. There are a few brown and gray accents as well. The back of the crib blanket is white cotton and the quilting goes through both layers. The back of the pillow cover is plain cotton with an envelope opening to allow for easy placement of a round pillow insert. It could also be used as a pajama storing option if the set was for an older child. I had a very similar item as a little girl and I remember folding my PJs and placing them in the cover and adorning my freshly made bed with the package. Good memory!

I note only one small discoloration mark on the front of the quilt - to the left of the bottom bunny is a faint dark area. It does not appear to be a deep stain and a good cleaning should clean it right up. There are a few of the slightest snags in the embroidery thread, most noticeably around some of the bunny faces. It is really in amazing condition for a vintage item. The quilting of the base pieces appears machine completed but the embroidery is hand done. There are a few spots where the quilting thread has frayed on the quilt as well. No rips or tears. No off odors.

The pillow cover has seen more use (thus my thought that it may have been used for PJs) and quite a bit of the quilting stitching is missing. The embroidery and binding edge are still in really nice shape.
