Oh my goodness! Do you have an Oktoberfest party in the makings? Or just need a autumn pick-me-up? This vintage Wekara stoneware beer stein with the decorative pewter lid is just the perfect piece! It depicts a man and woman in traditional Tyrolean outfits flanking both sides of an Apline peak in the middle. The designs are border by cream colored decorative borders and a deep blue background.

The stein is marked with Wekara, 5608 and the 11 on the bottom.

The piece also has a wonderful pewter (or silver?) lid with intricate designs and a flower embellished thumb lever. The handle is embossed leaves and decorative elements on a bark like background.

There are no chips or significant cracks along any of the edges. The inside is also clean. The pewter lid opens and closes smoothly and is securely attached. The lid does list slightly to the right when viewed from the middle.
