I love to find art that is small profile as I think it works as the finishing touch in a mantel or shelf display perfectly. And it make original art accessible for many! I also love to find pieces that reflect the four seasons as they can update a display instantly to reflect the current timeframe. This little piece caught my eye as it's colors are perfect for the autumn season and it has a textured surface from the use of amber chips in the mixed media presentation.

Autumn Scene - This is just a really lovely little piece depicting a stand of two trees in full autumn foliage with black trunks and other black accents. The leaves of the tree are actually formed from amber chips (note the message on the back of the piece). The ground and surrounding sky are equally embellished in variants of the amber color with small crushed stones. The colors are from yellow to orange to a golden brown with the black accents. It is perfect for your rustic cabin décor. The colorways are bright, the style is folk art looking and it would be adaptable to many décor styles. It is framed in a simple unstained wood frame. The frame is in nice condition with just a few slight gaps in the corners. There is no hanging wire on the back. You could add this painting to a collection of nature scenes or prop it on a bookshelf or mantel and it will celebrate autumn with you! The back indicates The "Trees" are made from real Amber chips.

My research indicates that these were often from Eastern Europe/Ukraine as souvenirs from the 1980s but I do not know that to be the case from this one. It is not marked that way but it looks quite similar to those I noted in my research.
