This little bathtub vignette in it's cute little painted orange frame is just looking for someone to have the right spot in their bathroom to get it a home. The scene is of a two little children in a bright yellow bathtub scrubbing and splashing with "sharing is everything" stitched along the bottom. A wonderful example of crewel embroidery showcasing many different types of stitches, including those that have dimensions and texture. The colors are bright and the image is just too darn cute!

The background is a light beige linen like fabric. There is a small wooden frame that has been painted glossy orange. The completed piece is held into the frame with metal clips and would be easy to remove for a quick cleaning. The background has some surface dustiness. The stitching is in wonderful condition. The paint on the frame is a single coat and would benefit from a second layer. The frame feels sturdy.

I think this would be make an adorable addition to a kids bathroom!
