This could not be more charming! An antique (1890s - 1920s) John Edwards White Ironstone China Warranted Victory Dolphin pitcher with moss rose design on two sides. The smaller profile of the pitcher would make it so handy for using in the kitchen and it would be the perfect compliment for a spray of spring flowers. It has a unique square shape to the opening at the top of the pitcher. The handle is such a kick with it's dolphin head.

The back stamp on the piece is very clear and dates the production between 1890-1911. It states Warranted Ironstone China Trade Mark John Edwards . Embossed into the bottom of the piece is 24 Victory R419508 (I think!).

Hard to believe it is in such pristine condition, all edges are free of cracks and chips and there is no crazing of the surface. The gold edge along the top of the spout does have some wear and is missing in spots. The hand painted moss rose design with brown and blue/gray leaves is also in very nice condition. No scratches or missing paint. It will be very hard not to keep this piece!
