I see a lot of beautiful china dishes and tea cups at estate sales and have to school myself to only purchase special ones. This one I had to have!

This is actually an elegant double handle cream, broth or consommé soup cup/bowl with underplate made in the WINDSOR Pattern by Royal Worcester of England. They have a creamy ivory, almost a soft yellow background, decorated with fruits, grapes, leaves and garland swags of raised painted red berries. There are gold medallions around the outside rim with a top green outline. The inside of the bowl, the the center circle of the saucer has a brown dot design. This is so lovely! The back stamp is clear and shows the Royal Worcester crown topped mark with the 51 in the center, Made in England at the base and Windsor on the bottom. The date mark of a "closed square □" underneath the Royal Worcester mark indicates this set was manufactured in 1928. Both pieces have the Royal Worcester back stamp.

The condition is incredible, no chips or crazing or fleabites. This lovely set is a pleasure to hold and crafted with care, and would compliment any spot you place it in or make a memorable gift. The colors really lend itself to Christmas decor.
