This is such a sweet little ceramic geese flower frog. I spied him sitting on a kitchen window ledge at an Estate sale and snapped him right up for my customers! The pearlized white bodies of the geese are accented well by their bright oranges beaks and they are perched on a set of tan "logs". It would be such a wonderful addition to a Spring or Easter mantel or shelf display.

It is vintage lusterware, made in Japan in the mid-century. It has holes for 6 flowers and would look even more charming with early spring wildflowers "blooming" around the birds. The hand painted details of the beaks, eyes and feet just finish it to perfection.

It is a darling little collectible. It is in excellent condition without chips or cracks. The lusterware finish is in excellent condition and it will make you smile every time you look at it! It could use a good cleaning as it is quite dusty in the crevices.

The base is clearly marked with Made in Japan. It is not hollow but there are holes all the way through to the bottom so it could be set in a small bowl of water if flowers were added to the piece.
