Vintage Hand-Made Reindeer Bottle Covers with Felt Faces
Vintage Hand-Made Reindeer Bottle Covers with Felt Faces
$15.00
I am not sure what the original intention of this quirky hand-made reindeer, but my best guess is for bottle covers. I can say they are one-of-a-kind for sure!
They are really fun! One is made of cocoa brown felt with yearn and rick-rack details. There is one red bulb on the end of one antler, but the second is missing. In really clean, vintage condition otherwise. The second is made of beige rice-paper like fabric. No bells on the antlers. There are a few small holes on the red felt decorative base on one side. The nose is a bit wrinkled that I suspect could be ironed out.
The both are hand-made with machine and hand stitching. They open up such that they would "stand-up" over a bottle and that is what I am surmising their original use to be. They could be re-purposed into other Christmas décor as well.
Dimensions:
14" long, 10" wide across nose, 7 1/2" wide at base
5" wide at base for an opening
Sold as a Set of Two
