Oh my goodness! You need this at the cottage or cabin for the little ones in your life, especially for the upcoming holiday season. It is a whimsical red and neutral-white cotton quilt with 17 embroidered scenes, small printed squares and calico fabrics.

The embroidered scenes (all in red on muslin backgrounds):

The squares are machine stitched together and the embroidery is on top. The cotton fabric is very clean and soft. If you did not want to use as is, the quilted panels would be perfect to add to upgraded fabric to make a new coverlet. They would also be really cute as pillows or framed for nursery designs. The back is red gingham check. There is a hand quilted by square in the bottom back but the signature has faded.

I note a few spots of discoloration. I am fairly certain they would clean right up with a gentle washing, (I have not laundered) No off-odors and not rips or tears. There are a few of the slightest snags in the embroidery thread, but really in amazing condition for a vintage item. I am guessing on the age to be the 1990s.
