This listing is for a set of very special Easter post cards and one retro photo. There are 5 pieces in the set - 4 post cards and 1 sepia photograph.
Postcard #1 - Anthropomorphic Poultry family with father, mother, child and 2 babies. Easter Greetings in the top right hand corner. The back has the message - Dear Uncle This is a new breed do you have them in Haverhill it costs a little more to keep them love Lori. Card is postmarked March 25, 1910 and has a 1 cent George Washington stamp still affixed. The imagery on the front is raised and the coloring quite vibrant still. The cream colored background has quite a few stray marks. The corners are still in nice condition for the age, and having been sent through the mail.

Postcard #2 - A Happy Easter with three children frolicking with the Easter bunny on a black background. The card was sent from a young man to his sister and reads as follows - Hello Sis, my sweet little sister How is your sickness? better I hope. was glad to hear from you and will be glad to hear from you some more. be a good little girl and maybe you will see somebody have Easter Sun that looks like us. Love Rich The stamp was cancelled on March 24 1915 in Windsor Ohio and was a 1 cent US Postage stamp with George Washington on it. The edges of the card are a bit rough with small tears and stains but the image is so amazing! Card indicates it was Printed in Germany on the back.

Postcard #3 - A pretty idyllic pasture scene with two lambs and a boy and girl in Victorian garb. The top indicates May Easter bring thee many joys. This card is also embossed and the colors are muted and stand out against the silver gray background. The message on the back in April 11, 1901. Card indicates Printed in Germany. This was not postmarked and has no stamp. Ella Marie is written in pen along the bottom of the front (very dainty writing). This postcard is in lovely vintage condition with just smudge marks and slight corner wear.

Postcard #4 - Spring Apple Blossoms pour forth from a rattan planter and Hearty Greetings is in the upper right hand corner. This postcard is vertically printed. The background is a soft green ticking stripe. On the back indicates Edna Fall From Gertrude. This was not postmarked and has no stamp. Made in Germany Serie 124 along the back edge. The edges of the card are a bit rough with small tears and stains but the pink flowers are still quite amazing! No dating available.

Adorable photo of a young man in his Easter finest in front of the fireplace at home. He has the biggest grin on his face as he displays his Easter basket. Children's Easter drawings are taped on the wall above the fireplace. Mid -Century chic, for sure! The date of 03-27-64 is written in pen on the back. Some staining and edge roughness.
