This is a fun find from an Estate sale last week; a Victor Patch Kit for All Rubber Repairs in the original colorful cardboard packaging with push on metal lid and a few pieces of the original product included (No flammable products are included in the kit). I love the retro look of the imagery and lettering and colors of the cardboard container and the advertising copy really brings a smile. Would display well with a collection of vintage tins or tools, or in the mid century bar of a car, motorcycle or bicycle lover.

The container is in nice vintage condition with some fading of the colors but no tears in the label. There is the full original price sticker from Kmart on one side ($2.57). The top is dent free and the roughing surface of the buffer is still quite sharp. The bottom metal plug has some surface oxidation. The colors and imagery are still really nice. The cardboard tube is complete on both ends.

There are a set of small square rubber patch pieces of the kit that are still included in the container, along with a larger patch piece that has really dried out. I do not think they would work for patching anything at this juncture though. It was manufactured by the Victor Automotive Products Co., Chicago Ill 60641. The inside has some residual dried up glue but this is just a display piece so not likely to be an issue!
