This is a beautiful set of two Mid-century Modern Franciscan Ware "Tiempo" ceramic containers. They were made in California, circa the 1940s. They are dual Condiment Jam & Jelly Jars with lids. The original foil stickers are on the bottom of both, as well as the printed Fransiscan Ware name.

They have such a unique look with their Art Deco shape and coloring. The bases are semi-circle shaped with smooth glaze around the outside and ribbing on the inside edges. They are burgundy/brown in color. The lids are peachy/tan with smooth glaze and small arched handles with spiky edges. They fit together side-by-side.

They are in lovely vintage condition with shiny glaze and no chips or cracks on the edges. There are chips in the tip of the lids, which, unfortunately is common for small edges on vintage items.

Really unique set!
