What a fun way to celebrate Colorado! This is a set of two, quirky items that likely were Colorado souvenirs in their day.

1 - Cool vintage metal drink tray with golden map of the state of Colorado in the center! These were popular souvenir pieces in the mid 60s. The metal tray has six recessed drink holder with pine cone images and in the center is a map of Colorado with towns and cities highlighted. The background of the tray is painted black and surrounding the drink holders, and along the outside edge are MCM gold lines and scalloped patterns. The back is shiny gold. In great vintage condition, as pictured. There are a few scuffs in the black paint, otherwise excellent. The gold paint on the inside rims of the cups has a mottled appearance that I am pretty sure is part of the original design. Dimensions: 10 7/8" in diameter x 1 1/8" tall

2 - Brown ceramic Colorado ceramic salt & pepper set with perky little squirrels for the handles. The fronts have embossed painted acorns with leaves and the backs have the same design without the paint on the leaves. The shakers are shaped like upside down acorns as well! The bottoms of both have the original little plastic stoppers. In excellent vintage condition. Dimensions: 3" wide, 2 1/2" tall, 2" diameter of shakers (without handles)

What a cute set! The perfect complement to your Colorado themed mantel or shelf or perfect on the bar at the hunting cabin. Maybe dad would like this for Father's Day?
