Vintage ARY Swedish Wood Rombouts Coffee Serving Tray
Vintage ARY Swedish Wood Rombouts Coffee Serving Tray
$22.50
This is just a fun little piece to add to your mid-century bar or coffee station set-up. It is a charming little wooden tray with hand-painted gold and black details, made in Sweden during the 1960s by ARY Fanerprodukter. A fine example of the midcentury modern style. It is made of very light, durable wood (teak?) with a medium colored stain.
The front is painted with Rombouts (a popular European coffee brand) gothic lettering with gold leaf. The Rombouts brand image is on one end of the lettering and a cup of coffee is on the other. The back reads ARY Fanerprodukter Made in Sweden. '
The condition is good for its age. The wood is in very nice condition with only the slightest of usage scratches. No cracks or chips in the wood. The gold paint is missing on part of the m in the Rombouts name. Everything else is really nice!
This would also be super fun to use as a display item in your Mid Century bar.
Here's a bit of the back story on Rombouts coffee:
Rombouts Coffee has been on the shelves of some the UK's best known supermarkets for over 50 years, but it all began 120 years ago in Antwerp, when Frans Rombouts roasted his first coffee.
Dimensions:
10 3/4" X 7 1/8" X 3/4"
