This fun metal tray is circa 1950s to 1960s and a really unique Canada souvenir. The tray is shiny silver aluminum with a fluted edge and features green painted Trilliums. Beneath the images is the title, TRILLIUM Floral Emblem of Ontario Canada. The back is fully silver. The original sticker indicating the Silhouette brand is affixed on the back. The label reads: SILHOUETTE Hand Crafted Quality Clean with damp cloth only. Made in Canada. (Presented in both English and French) Supreme Aluminum Industries Limited.

The tray is in nice vintage condition with no dents or rust. There are very obvious surface rubs in the aluminum coating on some of the fluted edges on the front and much more significantly along all the surface edges on the back. There are some light scratches and scuffs in the finish on the top, and more scratches on the back of the tray. The green paint is in nice shape for the majority of the image. There is paint missing on the top petal of the trillium on the left and around the edges of the lettering.

This was very likely a souvenir from a trip to Canada and would be fun to add to a collection of spring time flower items. The design lends itself perfectly to a farmhouse kitchen and colors that go so well with farmhouse green and creams. A really nice size for serving or on a buffet. There is a 1" lip around the edges and the fluted edges lend itself well to hand hold areas.
