Really cute design - off white background with tan scalloped edges and embroidered flowers in orange and yellow , with greenery, in one corner of the napkins and one side of the coasters. The coasters are two layer with a center stitched opening to insert a wine glass stem easily. (Note: one of the coasters does not have the stitching cut open on one side of the slit, easily remedied with some snips of the thread)

Peacock Creations is a brand that was produced in The People's Republic of China in the 1950s.

This set is excellent condition. Never been used and show no signs of aging. The stitching is in very good shape - no snags or breaks in the embroidery that I observed. There is are no discoloration marks that I could find. Really pretty and display so well.

The colors and embroidery put me in mind of Easter, a spring party or a summer barbecue. They could be used for all these occasions!
