These charming vintage salt and pepper shakers are made from wood and feature a colorful hand painted image of a fluffy white sheep with vegetables in red, yellow and green. I think these would be really fun to use when camping or grilling as their larger profile lends them well to outdoor applications. There rustic appeal would add a dose of fun around the outdoor grill as well.

They are marked Salt and Pepper on the front and JAPAN on the bottom with small plastic stoppers. These are not in perfect condition - there are spots where the paint on the front has been rubbed off - on the sheep on the pepper and the sheep and the carrot greens on the salt. There is also one slight scuff along the top edge of the pepper ( a light sanding and a touch of stain would improve this considerably) They are sturdy and have really nice wood grain on the non-painted sides. These would be a really cute set to add to your cook out picnic pieces. Just sweet nostalgia from the mid-century.
