These airbrushed/stenciled fruit and flower design enamel pots/pans/trays from the 1950s were often given by merchants as premiums for their customers. They were made of light weight metal with an enamel finish and had colorful flower, fruit or veggie designs airbrushed or stenciled on the surface. They are getting harder and harder to find. This one is a beauty with its really practical size and bright colors and excellent condition.

Oh the ways you could use this tray! It could be used to hold ice for sodas or drinks at a summer barbeque party, in the laundry room for washing delicates, soaking tired feet, or collecting eggs - and would look bright and cheery while doing so every time. It would display wonderfully on the wall and bring a shot of bright cheer to the mantel or shelf display. Those are just the first few ideas, I am sure you have more!

The airbrushed/stenciled red roses design is still very vibrant and the bright green polka dots and edge are a stand out. There are no areas where the enamel has been compromised. No dents in the enamel and just the slightest spots of paint loss.

There are no manufacturer marks on the piece.

Very practical size and wonderful vintage presentation. It displays beautifully!
