This set of two 1940s Ovenex muffin tins with rustic patina came from a wonderful estate in Northern Michigan. They are simple, honest, well-used vintage muffin tins with a retro waffle weave pattern. Vintage Ovenex bakeware has textured surfaces that make them desirable. Oh so retro ! There are 6 small cups that are 2 3/4“ in diameter in each of the pans.

These swell little vintage muffin tins would be just the ticket for food styling and photographs or kitchen décor (it has 2 holes for hanging). Of course, you could also use them for baking!

They are stamped “New Baking Metal Ovenex Pat" and “United States of America X60”. They definitely have patina and usage stains, but the waffle weave pattern in the cups and the decorative elements around the edge are just amazing! I tested a few spots with metal cleaner and it looks like they would clean up to bright silver if you were interested - and had lots of time! This would be a labor of love for sure. They are so great as they are anyway! There is no rust on the pieces.
