This medium vintage soft blue speckled granite ware wash basin is just waiting for you to find a creative use for it in your home! It has the most appealing gray "tiger stripe", speckled blue gray finish and not too much enamel loss to render it unusable around food. Of course, you could also use it for storing hard goods such as kindling by the firepit, or pine cones in the Christmas display on the porch or for a planter in the garden or on the porch or deck or ....

The basin is in really solid condition. The most compromised spot is along the inner rim where there is a series of about 8 small enamel loss spots. They can be seen on the back as well although there is no holes all the way through. It still sits very level and has a really compelling design. There are a few other very small spots of missing enamel as well. Underneath the bottom rim on the back it is quite dirty and I think it would clean up well.

No hanging hole or manufacturer markings. I'm judging it to be 1940s.
