These stenciled fruit design enamel pans from the 1950s were often given by merchants as premiums for their customers. They were made of light weight metal with an enamel finish and had colorful fruit or veggie designs stenciled on the surface. They are getting harder and harder to find. This one is a beauty with its really practical size and bright colors. Oh the ways you could use this utility basin or bowl! It could be used to wash dishes on your next camping trip, to hold ice for sodas or drinks at a summer barbeque party, in the laundry room for washing delicates, soaking tired feet, or collecting eggs - and would look bright and cheery while doing so every time. Those are just the first few ideas, I am sure you have more!

The stenciled fruit bowl design is still very vibrant. The pan is vintage and has seen some use over it's days for sure. There are areas where the enamel has been compromised and rust has set in, but no holes all the way through the pan.
This is primarily along the edges on the top and bottom. No dents in the enamel and it is quite water tight still.

There are no manufacturer marks on the piece.

Very practical size and wonderful vintage presentation without being too rough.
