Frecon Farms has been growing some of Pennsylvania's finest tree fruits and berries since 1944. Cherries, peaches, plums, blueberries, nectarines, raspberries, apples, and pears. For 3 generations, we've provided the Delaware Valley and communities throughout the United States with the best fruit, local produce, specialty food items, and ciders through our retail store, bakery, kitchen, farmers' markets, and wholesale distribution services.
The bottom has the details regarding the manufacturer of the piece:
305171
F & PP
Div. of Inland Container Corporation Biglerville Penna. This container manufactured under volumetric specifications of Weights and Measures State of New Jersey
As would be expected with a vintage farm tray of this age, there are darker areas in the cardboard, especially along the top edge and other usage stains. All the original staples are still in place and the center bent wood handle feels quite sturdy.
This would be ideal for displaying in a summer vignette or strawberry social buffet. Really hard to find in such decent shape, as they were workhorses in their day!
Dimensions:
7 1/2" high at the top of the handle
9 1/2" x 5" x 3 1/4" for the basket
