Oh my goodness - I was so excited to find these sets of animals as I remember my son playing with a very similar set in his childhood (why didn't I keep them!)

This is a set of Big Cats from the Vanishing Wild Collection of Safari Ltd. (Made in China and sold in 1990) . Each one has the species name on the bottom. The set includes:
- Male Lion with mane
- Female Lioness
- Lion Cub
-Siberian Tiger
-Siberian Tiger Cub

These are well known by collectors for the quality of the details and sculpting in plastic. They are very heavy and that is why I remember them so well. They were virtually indestructible and kids loved them!

It is really cool to find the full lion set and the addition of the Siberian Tigers as well. This set shows signs of play, mostly in some random marks on the surfaces. Nothing is broken or missing and they display incredibly well! They all stand or sit on their own perfectly.
