This working vintage Otagiri ceramic doe and fawn music box plays the song, "Talk to the Animals" and is just so adorable! You simply tighten the silver pedestal on the bottom and use the little gold button to turn it on and off. It slowly rotates while softly playing the song.

This piece is ceramic on a wood base with a metal pedestal foot. The mother and baby deer are all soft brown with white spots , gray hooves and noses and black eyes. Very high gloss finish. It looks really sweet just as a display piece and so charming when slowly revolving and playing the familiar song.

Everything is in really nice vintage condition. The music mechanism works and the porcelain is in gorgeous condition. It plays the song beautifully. The original tag reading Talk to the Animals Otagiri Japan is on the front of the base and Otagiri Japan is also printed on the wood base.
The tag has some corner curling but is clearly legible.
