When I saw these pieces, I thought they would be so practical with just the perfect folk art/vintage touch. They put me in mind of the wonderful pieces found at art fairs around the country every summer. Handmade and unique!

There are four small condiment, dipping or trinket bowls from the same potter - signed Gayle on the back of each. They are all slightly different. Three have a similar darker shades of blue, green and brown glazes which resemble natural elements. Two are 4 3/8" in diameter and one is 4 1/2" in diameter, all three being 3/4" tall. The fourth bowl has a more blue/green combination glaze without the brown and a more pronounced brown speckling in the unglazed portions. It is 4 1/2" in diameter and 1 1/8" tall. All four have unglazed bottoms with Gayle signatures in brown.

Other than some slight usage marks on the bottoms, these bowls are in excellent, chip free condition. The brown glaze on the smaller bowls has a slight crackly appearance but I'm pretty sure that was as intended.

Just sweet, folksy, practical and unique, however you use them!
