This is a set of eight wooden miniature buildings for a country village vignette, hand painted and signed from the 1980s. They are hand painted with lots of whimsical details. Three of them have holes drilled in the top of their roofs for a small candle. (I'll send along the candles I used in the photos, although they are a bit small).

All are signed and dated on the bottom, and a few have their original price tags as well. I can not decipher the signature, or initials, though. My suspicion is they were a locally made item sold exclusively at a small gift shop.

The eight items are:

-Brick red with dark green roof. TOY SHOP. Candleholder.
-Barn red with brighter green roof. Field stone painted on lower portion. Candleholder.
-Country blue with black roof. GENERAL STORE. Candleholder.
-Yellow with white roof. CAFE.
-Burnt red with gold roof. HARDWARE.
-Country blue with black roof. COUNTRY INN.
-Brown log cabin with white stripes and black roof.
-White church with black accents and steeple.

They all are in good vintage condition with only slight edge scuffing of the paint . The CAFE and HARDWARE have pin hole openings in their roof - maybe they had strings at one time?
