The first thing that caught my eye on this piece was the color - the softest of pink hue. The second thing - it's milk glass - such wonderful hand feel! The third was practical uses I could think of; a great holder of candy, trinkets, keys, candles, or any other small treasures, a nut or dip bowl with crudités on a Easter buffet, a business card holder on a desk....

This lovely shell pink sugar bowl was made by Jeannette Glass Co. and the pattern is Baltimore Pear. Originally The original piece had a lid, but it works well with out one. The styling is quite Victorian with the raised pear design, fluted pedestal base and detailed double handles.

The piece is in wonderful condition; no chips, cracks or crazing.
