Vintage Light Amber Federal Glass Madrid Pattern Creamer & Sugar Bowl
Vintage Light Amber Federal Glass Madrid Pattern Creamer & Sugar Bowl
$24.00
This small decorative sugar and creamer was discovered at an estate auction of a collector/seller. It was identified as Federal Glass Company, Madrid Pattern, although there is no markings on the bottom of either piece. It is made of amber glass and has an intricate design on both sides of the pieces. A fun part of the design is the dot garland connecting each of the designs on the pieces. This would be identified as depression glass and would be great as a collectable, or even still to use as a serving piece.
There is only 1 small flaw on the sugar bowl- a tiny crack on the rim of the sugar bowl. And on the creamer - a few chips on the inside of the spout.
The color is a soft amber and it really reflects light tremendously. I think they would look lovely as small vases with fresh flowers or as a special piece on the Easter table.
Dimensions:
Creamer - 3 1/4" tall, 5 1/4" wide (handle to spout)
Sugar Bowl - 3 1/4" tall and is 5 1/4" wide (handle to handle)
Sold as a Set of Two
