This sweet antique cup is soft white porcelain with embossed lily of the valley flowers and gold accents. It has a wonderful high gloss finish, a top scalloped edge and small feet on the bottom. A special touch is the top rim of the inside has a soft, sky blue hue. It would work perfectly as a toothpick or match holder, or, of course a little vase for an Easter bouquet. It would also be a sweet little piece to add to an Easter basket of your favorite pre-teen girl. Get her started on collecting vintage items early!

It is in wonderful vintage condition. There are no chips on the top or bottom rim. The gold paint along the top rim is quite faded. There is only the slightest of bits of gold paint left in that area. The gold paint of the background is lighter in the middle of the piece. Was it always this way, or is it rubbed away from use over time? Not sure, just know that it is lovely as it is and has no paint scratches or chips.

The marking on the bottom is illegible, but it looks like three slash marks.

I really find this piece adorable!
