The World's 100 Best Short Stories is a charming collection of stories on popular subjects of today and yesteryear that was published in a ten volume set in 1927 by Funk and Wagnalls Co. This is the first volume - Adventure - in the series. There are 252 pages and 10 stories included in the volume. The Editor in Chief of the book was Grant Overton. The book is covered in red cloth and the title is on the binding in brown imprint (may have been gold that faded).

The book is in very nice condition. The red cloth cover has some signs of age (dirtiness and edge and corner scuffs) but the color is still brighter than others I found for sale. The pages have colored with age but the binding is still very strong, there are no marks in the book and all the pages are in tact.

Displays well, fun to read what was considered adventure in the 1920s!
