Time to bring out a few things to add fall colors to your every day table! This would be a fun, and practical, way to do just that. The colors, the design elements, and the brand all bring you back to the 1970s charmingly!

This is a partially used set of Valcour Pak Placemats with the original plastic package. The package indicates there were 80 Placemats, each 14" x 10". These were manufactured by Valcour Imprinted Papers, Inc. in Glens Falls, NY. On the back of the package you see they are to be used for TV Snacks, Daily Meals, Patios, Picnics and Sick Trays. They are Decorative, Thrifty and Disposable!

The designs are fun with creamy off-white backgrounds and a border of avocado green, gold and red artichokes, tomatoes, onion, mushrooms and greenery. In the center are similar design elements, bordered by a double red line. The texture is heavy paper and has a wavy surface. I believe the design was called "Spice of Life" when originally sold.

The package has been opened and is half used. I counted 39 remaining placemats. The colors are really vibrant still and the paper is in wonderful condition having been in the plastic wrapper while stored. There is some storage waviness to the placemats but I found when you take them out individually they lay pretty flat. Only the top one has a bent corner.
