I spy items all the time that end up making perfect components for gift sets. This is a perfect example. I thought this would be a really nice gift set for Easter or a Bridal shower around the holiday season. The set includes a pretty pressed glass pink bowl and a sweet embroidered hand towel. It would be easy to wrap up in a box and present with a heartfelt handwritten note.

1. Vintage pressed glass bowl; oblong in shape with a quilted diamond relief design on the sides and a decorative sunburst as the base. There are full handles on both ends. This is really pretty and the soft pink color is what caught my eye. It would be perfect for both Easter and Valentine's Day displays.

The piece is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, scratches. There is no manufacturer information but it seems that similar items were produced in the 1970s in the Asian region. It needs a good cleaning, there is a lot of dust in the design but it will clean up well.

2. Hand embroidered linen tea/guest towel with a sweet Victorian lady in her teal blue skirt and gold bonnet is watering her disproportionately large pink tulip. Very well done applique and embroidery. Towel is high quality linen with hem stitch bottom and rolled edges. There are two small dark spots on the inside fold. Really sweet!
