These are just fun little vintage pieces of harvest themed West German printed paper craft from the 1950s. They are not a matching set, but rather two plates with similar coloring, that celebrate the harvest season and would make very unique additions to your vintage Thanksgiving decorations. There are two plates:

1 - This plate is marked Hallmark and Made in West Germany 35 DP 60-1. It has an Ombre brown background with gold tipped scalloped edges. The center is a really pretty image of fall harvest fruits and vegetables, with leaves and green grapes as accents. The back has the traditional green flecked background of other West German pieces from this time frame. (Likely 1950s) In very nice vintage condition with a few scuffs in the paper and some wrinkles and folds along the top edge.

2 - This plate is marked Ambassador and Printed in West Germany 35TDP2A. It has a wood grain looking tan background with gold tipped folded edges. The center is a really sweet image of fall harvest fruits and vegetables and a majestic tom turkey in the background. The back has the traditional brown flecked background of other West German pieces from this time frame. (Likely 1950s) In very nice vintage condition with no scuffs in the paper but some wrinkles and folds along the top edge.

These are both made of heavy cardboard with high quality printed images and I believe they were originally intended to be used for serving cookies or other goodies during fall/Thanksgiving festivities.

West Germany made a lot of paper art around the time of World War II and after. They created collectible pieces that have nice art themes.
