Moving into fall colors and tones for decorating is one of my favorite seasonal changes. Halloween is a nice focal point at the end of that timeframe as well. But, I have always, even as a little girl, been frightened by Halloween "spookiness". This year I have been on the hunt for items that could be used in Fall and Halloween decorating that are fun, light hearted and definitely unique. I have quite the collection brought together. Each item will be posted separately, accompanied by a few photos of vignettes with other items to spark your creativity.

What a fun find! This is for the younger set, for sure.

There are three PEZ candy dispensers with Halloween character themes; ghost, witch and pumpkin. The Pumpkin and Ghost were made in Hungary. The red hair, sweet faced witch was made in China. All appear to be in working condition with no cracks or defects in the plastic. Some slight usage marks. Dimensions: 4 1/2" tall

This entertaining Lift A Flap book by author Harriet Ziefert tells the story of a group of trick or treaters. Richard Brown’s kindly and playful illustrations make the secrets behind the openable doors a delightful surprise for young readers. There are characters in the book that match the PEZ dispensers, which would add even more fun for a young child.

The book is part of the Picture Puffins series from the mid-1980s and is made of glossy heavy paper which adds to the ability for young hands to turn the pages and enjoy the story. The book is in good condition with all flaps and pages attached and in good shape with bright colors. There is light age wear to the edges and corners. Dimensions: 7 1/2" square
