Do you have a Boy/Cub Scout in your life - or were you or your father part of this program? This is a fun set of Boy Scout/Cub Scout memorabilia from two different generations. The set includes: Official Certificates from the 1930s, Official Hat and Camp Silverware Set from the 1960s and a 1950s Cub Scout Scrap Book.


1 - 4 pieces of Official Boy Scout record keeping from the 1930s.
One original Boy Scout annual membership card from the year 1938. This is a standard tri-fold style membership card. The card has beautiful graphics on both the front and back, along with the classic scout slogans. The interior features quite a bit of information including the Scout Oath, Scout Law, and a section to fill out for the scout's rank, duties, dues, etc. The membership card is still in very good condition for its age. The card has a spot on the cover where the top paper is missing and is stamped Reuben Dyer and Apr 1938 on one page. No other writing inside. When folded/closed, the card measures 2 3/8" by 3 3/4" in size.
Three Pine Tree Council Certification of Examiners records. They are heavy paper stock with a listing on Test on one side and places to mark completion and dates. 2 of the 3 have information recorded for different scouts in 1936 and 37. One is unused. They all have their original brown paper storage sleeves with Boys' Life Advertisements on the front and Boy Scout Uniform details on the back. In used condition with writing, scuffs and wrinkles but really nice for 85+ years old! Dimensions: 2 3/4" X 4" when folded in sleeve.

2 - Vintage Boy Scout Green Hat, Sanforized Cotton, Medium size 6 3/4 - 6 7/8. True vintage hat from the 1950s to 1960s with the 'Official Boy Scouts Seal and Sanforized noted on the interior. Made of olive green cotton with red piping trim and the embroidered Boy Scout logo on the front. Inside also includes a line for the Name and John... is written in black marker on that line. (sorta on that line!)
The hat is in excellent, vintage condition. Dimensions: 10 1/2" long, 4 5/8" wide at widest point.

3 - Official BSA silverware / utensil set in it's original carrying case, complete with the Boy Scouts logo stamped into the top flap. The case is a vinyl-like material, and is in really nice condition with no rips or tears. The snap is in great shape. There is some age related marking along the seams. Dimensions: 7 1/2" long, 2 3/4" side at top, tapering to 1 1/4" at bottom. Included in the utensil set are a fork, spoon, and knife. They attach to each other by having the knife and fork slide over two knobs located on the spoon. These were made by "Imperial Stainless", and all are in really nice, vintage condition. They do show some wear from use over the years, as well as a few minor areas of tarnishing. Likely 1960s/70s. Dimensions: Spoon - 7 1/4" long, Knife and Fork - 6 3/4" long

4 - Vintage 1950s Cub Scout Scrapbook in very nice pre-owned vintage condition. The cover is pebble grained paper in royal blue with the title in gold at the top center and in the bottom right corner is a color headshot image of a smiling cup scout in his uniform. The pages of the book are held together by a black cord. Inside is around 50 heavy paper stock pages that have darkened with age. The first 25 pages have newspaper clippings and colored pictures from the original cub scout who owned the book Many of those pages have dog eared corners in their bottom right corner. The first page has a newspaper clipping of Cub Scout Troop 147 in Cadillac Michigan and is dated January 28, 1950. The remaining pages are blank pages. Dimensions: 9 1/4" x 11 1/4" x 5/8"

Alone, each of the items is a cool find. As a set - an amazing collection!
