Vintage Byron Bell from Zoe Bios Creative Pen & Ink Sketch Print - Thailand
Vintage Byron Bell from Zoe Bios Creative Pen & Ink Sketch Print - Thailand
$12.50
I found a collection of 14 Byron Bell Prints of Ink and Watercolor Sketches from around the world. These prints were packaged and offered by Zoe Bios Creative out of California. I am offering them as individual listings but would entertain a package price, if more than one is desired. Just send me a message and we can discuss.
All the prints are on heavy watercolor paper. Most of them have some waviness to the paper which adds to the authentic look of the pieces. They are wonderful pieces to add a global touch to a gallery wall or office décor. Each print has the signature, location and date noted near the bottom of the finished image.
Each one comes with a copy of the description sheet that was included. This sheet indicates as follows:
Byron Bell, with his wife, Susan, has traveled to just about 100 countries over a 40-year time span. They have generally managed to stray from the “beaten path” in their search for useful crafts, indigenous structures, and spectacular landscapes.
The sketches are always done on site with ink and watercolor, with few, if any, modifications made thereafter.
While sometimes a look at a drawing, completed a day, or a week, or a month earlier, might suggest modification, a highlight or some other emphasis, Byron believes that the freshness of the drawings should not be tampered with.
Sometimes Byron and Susan travel with 1, 2 or 3 friends. All have their priorities. Sometimes someone might want to move on or have lunch. Byron might have to draw fast or miss lunch. Actually, this help the freshness of interpretation.
This piece is:
Wat Yai Ayuthaya Thailand Jan 13, 1986
Dimensions : 8 1/2' x 11"
(Note - the last image is one of the pieces framed so you can get a sense of a finished product idea)
