I love to build collections from items found at Estate sales. So often, there are really throw-back office items that have perfect vintage vibes; I snap them up until I have enough to build a set. I'm there on this one now! A set of five items, as follows:
1. City of London Embossed Leather Men's Grooming Kit with tortoise shell comb and Sheffield nail file. The front of the embossed leather case has the City of London seal in gold, white and red. The back is labeled Mowbry Real Leather. The comb is labeled Made in England and the nail file Made in Sheffield England. The case is in amazing, vintage condition. The plastic comb has slight edge rubbing. The nail file has oxidation on the metal and may need to be replaced if intended to file nails. Dimensions: 5" 11" x 1 3/4"
2. Monogrammed (jCa 1988) Pewter letter opener. The back is etched Kirk Stieff Pewter. Pewter handle with stainless blade. The pewter, being softer metal, shows surface nicks and dings and the monogram is slightly faded. Blade is in wonderful condition. Would work well. Dimensions: 8” X 3/4" at widest point of handle
3. Retractable metal pointer for presentations. In small pseudo-suede case. Black outside with silver clip and pointer. Resembles a pen when not in use. Really nice condition, opens and closes smoothly. Dimensions: Case - 6 1/4" x 1 1/8”. Extends to 35" reach.
4. Metal Japanese Shuriken Ornament (Likely a souvenir from Japan). Resembles the Ninja tool but is not sharp and is for looks only. Japanese characters etched in the middle. Dimensions: 2 3/8" across
5. Three (3) High-definition Camera Pens with LSY labels and instruction sheet, in textured green cardboard box. The pens are glossy black with gold accents. The instruction card indicates, this product is a high-definition audio and video capture function of a digital pen that can capture and store high-definition video with sound in a simple, small and exquisite, beautiful and practical, easy to carry features for business, education, security, media, justice, tourism, health, life and other areas of essential utilities, deeply favored customers. They appear to be complete and the instructions in English and Chinese describe all the components. I do not know if they work, but they sure catch your eye! The box is in good shape structurally with scrapes and scuffs in the green paper covering. Dimensions: Box - 6 1/2" x 2" x 3/4". Pens - 5 3/4" long
