This is the basic black cast iron kettle steamer to use for humidifying and bring a pleasant fragrance to a room when filled with potpourri.  Steamers are functional as well as decorative stove accessories and can be used with any trivets to help prevent boiling and lengthen the time between refills. Enameled inside and out to prevent rust and corrosion.
