This is such a sweet oil painting of a farmstead with a young girl heading out with a basket - my imagination is entitling it "Barn Chores" and I think she is heading to the chicken coop for eggs on a summer morning. It has a folk art feel to the painting style and is signed Alice Havens. There is no date, but based on other pieces from the Estate Sale I would think 1970s. The artist added some techniques that show some texture and reflections that add a nice contrast to the overall presentation.

The piece is not currently framed.

The painting itself is in very nice vintage condition. It is taped into a neutral double mat that shows a bit of aging, mostly from loss of color.

This painting is just waiting to be framed and included in your farmhouse décor!
