Vintage 1940s Dark Green Tiger Pattern Enamel Double Roaster

Vintage 1940s Dark Green Tiger Pattern Enamel Double Roaster

$36.00
The first thing that caught my eye was the darker green color of this enamelware roasting pan with the original lid. Then I looked closer and saw that it had a wonderful mottled surface and a hanging hole. Looking closer yet I saw that there was no significant enamel loss anywhere and the lid fit perfectly. Sold!

This is just waiting for you to find a creative use for it in your home! It has the perfect amount of chipping to the enamel but no holes anywhere and no rust. It would be wonderful to use for storing hard goods such as kindling by the firepit, or pine cones in the Christmas display on the porch or for a planter in the garden or on the porch or deck or ....

This fun enamelware piece is circa 1930s to 1940s. It is a very pretty dark green color with white zebra stripes. The two piece roaster is in solid condition with the lid fitting well and the bottom still level. It does have a few spots of enamel loss. This pan was clearly used and, as such, the enamel on the inside of both pieces has a surface darkness and dustiness to the finish of the enamel, the outside and bottom are still quite shiny.

I see a lot of enamel pots but they often have significant enamel loss, or less appealing shapes. I love the color, design and the original lid still being included. It's really special!
