When I spied these pieces at an Estate Sale I thought they would be perfect for a summer barbeque spread! There are three pieces that all have a folk art feel and look so cute together!

Ceramic Plate/Platter - I've never seen anything quite like it, as I assume it was handmade by someone in the family. This assumption comes from the lack of any branding or signature on the piece. A love so many things about the piece - it's irregular shape, it's slightly concave edges which would allow for juicy appetizers to be well displayed, it's subtle red and green coloring and the artistic placement of the seeds. Very clever! The platter/tray is in wonderful condition. I note just one slight crack in the base on one side of the foot. The top and bottom, except for the foot, are glazed in a velvety feel finish that glints in the light when angled. Dimensions: 12 1/2" long x 8" wide x 1 3/8" tall

Small Wooden Painted Watermelon Wedge - Bright red with prominent seeds, this little wooden painted wedge is a pop of color for summer! Slight paint loss on top corner. Glossy finish. Stands well on its own. Dimensions - 6" x 4 1/2" x 3/4"

Half Slice Wooden Painted Watermelon with Bite - Softer red with subtle seeds this little wooden painted piece is a folk art dream with a pop of color for summer! Some scratches in red paint on one side. Signed on bottom (looks like a picture of a stick person?) and 82. Matte finish. Stands well on its own. Dimensions - 10 3/4" x 4 7/8" x 7/8"
