My parents owned a Collectibles and Toy store back in the 1990s. They had a wonderful assortment of collectible stuffed animals, but too many to keep now that they have retired. This piece is from Bear Brown Collectables, Style #SYD7 with the name of Sydney. A classic brown mohair teddy bear with a dark purple satiny ribbon, brown eyes and classic stitched brown bear nose. The arms and legs are jointed and the head swivels. It best displays in a seated position. ( The bow may or may not be original, just not sure)

The original hang tag is still attached and indicates the name to be "Sydney" and Limited Edition 31/75 Dated 1997

Bear Brown Collectables are a wide, wonderful family of handcrafted bears. Each is an original design that is signed, numbered and dated by the artist. The back of the tag indicates Bear Brown bears are double stitched and carefully constructed. These bears are handcrafted and contain small parts. They are no indestructible and should not be used as play toys for small children.

This is a one of a very special, limited edition piece and in really wonderful vintage condition and ready to add a sweet touch to your décor.
