This is so beautiful that I placed it on the mantel for Easter and it was a star! It is a gorgeous antique Prussia Rudolstadt Beyer and Bock Germany covered butter/cheese dish with a cream tone background and hand painted pink, yellow and peach colored roses on all four sides and gold accents on the handle. The flower paintings have soft blue accents around their designs.

Imagine that this has graced a kitchen counter or dining table for over 100 years and there are no noted chips, cracks or crazing. The bottom mark is in green print and indicates Prussia Royal Rudolstadt with the crown topped B crest in the center for Beyer & Bock.

A one of a kind dish to store your favorite cheese - Katie would approve!
