This is just so pretty. This beautiful, late 19th century vase is hand blown of opaque gray glass and hand painted in a floral (daisy) design. The classic urn shape with pedestal base, scalloped rim and floral motif are typical of the era. There is a rough pontil mark on the bottom. A pontil mark or punt mark is the scar where the pontil, punty or punt was broken from a work of blown glass. The presence of such a scar indicates that a glass bottle or bowl was blown freehand.

This vase is in amazing Antique condition, minimal paint loss and shelf wear. No visible damage.

If you are a collector of Bristol Ware I think the color of the glass of this pieces is a bit more unique and would add to your collection. If you just like pretty things - this is for you as well!
